One of our earliest recipes, Maple Turmeric Cashew Butter was the first ButterNut jar to win a Great Taste award, setting the tone for what came next.

This is a bold, adventurous recipe that relies on balance and precision. Ingredients are grouped and prepared separately, then added to the nut butter at exactly the right moment to create its distinctive balance of sweetness and warmth.

We have made it so many times that we can tell when it is ready just by the change in sound. The last stage is a gentle fold that lasts for less than 30 seconds.  Part recipe, part ritual, and very much a ButterNut original.
